Established in 1948, the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan (BCCJ) is an exceptionally active and ever-expanding private membership organisation serving over 700 high-caliber members and 200 businesses. The BCCJ’s mission is to strengthen business ties between the UK and Japan, promote and support the business interests of BCCJ members, and encourage new British business into the Japanese market – as well as Japanese investment into the UK.

Presented by the British Chamber of Commerce in Japan, the 2013 British Business Awards broke the record for this annual gala event by drawing 62 nominees. About 220 guests enjoyed a superb evening of cuisine, entertainment—and recognition for the best of UK business in Japan.
